My daughter and I are sprucing up a 1952 Featherweight per the DVD. The DVD has been such fun...a bonding for mother and daughter and we feel as if we "know" Dave. It was very satisfying to restore this little machine. Again, your instructional DVDs are terrific...well presented and thought-out.
And we enjoyed your 'company'.

I really have enjoyed your CDs. I originally bought your book, but at a sewing conference, it disappeared, so I replaced it with the combo deal. They are both great, but the CD is even better, since you have such a clear way of explaining things. Too bad you aren't in Virginia! I'd love to go to one of your workshops!

A new sense of featherweight empowerment has been given to me by Dave and Sharon since taking their Featherweight Maintenance Workshop in Seattle, Washington.

My husband was so excited that I was going to learn "how to fix it" And I did. It felt great to take the machine apart, meet other featherweight owners and the famous Dave. There's a man who could run neck and neck with Dave Barry. Lot's of stories and even Sharon can't keep him quiet. But then who cares, the class was fun, informative and I would recommend it to anyone who has a featherweight.

Even if you don't own a featherweight, my guess is that Dave and Sharon could help you find one and all the attachments that we quilters can't live without. (note added: Featherweight RX does sell machines).

Besides providing us with a great class, Dave and Sharon are occasional snow birds. My husband and I are looking forward to meeting them in the desert at Quartzite, Arizona sometime.

I am so grateful to you for walking me thru the process of fixing my Featherweight. I am glad that the problem was fixable...I would have gone with a new motor if need be, but to be perfectly honest...I am glad that I was able to get the old one working again....I like keeping it "as is".

Not many people would have taken the time to walk me thru the process and "give" me their knowledge to solve the problem...especially on their own time. You and your wife are truly kind and generous people.

I tried sewing again after a few hours...and it still works. Ta-da. Such a feeling of accomplishment for me.

I wanted to drop you a note to tell you how much you blessed me with the maintenance DVD & book! Not only does my newly acquired 221 purr like a kitten...but I've been a long arm owner for 9 years and the clear & concise instructions that you have produced have helped me in the maintenance of my LA!!

Especially the oiling of take-up lever & needle bar (the flicking motion..brilliant!) My LA has a Singer rotary tension-er, I finally know how this vital part works and how to get that perfect tension for my LA. (what a difference it has made...& I thought the stitch was pretty good, it's great now!)

Thank you again for your wonderful DVD & book...it is the dynamic duo!!

I received my DVD and book and the word I kept repeating loudly when watching the DVD was "GENIUS!" My hubby is a Scot as well, so any way to save money is greatly appreciated. ; ) He asked, "So how many times did you say GENIUS just in the first few minutes of this DVD? It must be really good!" He has a home office, so he kept hearing me exclaim "GENIUS!" every few minutes from another room!

Dave, you are truly a genius and I am amazed at all of your incredible tips! I have already created my list of items I will need before I start AND I have sung your praises on the Featherweight site on FaceBook, so you may be seeing some more orders come your way.

Thank you for developing the DVD to maintain a featherweight. I inherited my great aunt's machine and it was almost never used after she passed away in 1956. I cleaned it up following your directions, and replaced the cracked electric cord. Now it runs beautifully. Thank you once again for the directions, and supplies to get the machine ready for use.
